Our Story

At EngineeringX, we are redefining how roads are designed.
​
The company was born from a fundamental limitation in the industry: existing tools rely on manual CAD workflows that struggle to handle the complexity of brownfield road design—where every project is constrained by existing geometry, safety requirements, and real-world conditions.

We set out to solve this differently.
​
Instead of drawing designs manually, EngineeringX developed a computer-implemented design (CID) approach that generates and evaluates road geometry through constraint-based systems—automating what has traditionally been a highly manual and iterative process.

Founded in New Zealand, EngineeringX is focused on enabling engineering teams and infrastructure owners to design faster, reduce risk, and make better decisions earlier in the project lifecycle.
